President’s Message

Welcome to the 2026-2027 League Year!

I am honored to serve as the 89th President of the Junior League of DeKalb County, an organization of women committed to advancing leadership, strengthening communities, and creating lasting impact through service.

For more than 90 years, the Junior League of DeKalb County has brought together women who believe in the power of collective action. Through leadership development, volunteer service, and community partnerships, we have worked to improve the lives of women and families throughout DeKalb County while preparing women to lead in every space they occupy.

Our theme this year, United in Purpose, reflects the strength of who we are and what we can accomplish together. While each member brings unique talents, experiences, and perspectives, we are united by a shared commitment to our mission and the communities we serve. This theme is a reminder that our greatest impact happens when we work collaboratively, support one another, and move forward with a common purpose.

We will bring this theme to life by:

Strengthening Connections

  • Creating opportunities for members to build meaningful relationships across all stages of membership.
  • Fostering a culture of belonging where every member feels valued, welcomed, and empowered to contribute.
  • Celebrating the diverse experiences and perspectives that make our League stronger.

Leading with Purpose

  • Investing in leadership development opportunities that prepare women to serve effectively within the League and beyond.
  • Encouraging members to step into leadership with confidence, curiosity, and a commitment to growth.
  • Building a collaborative leadership culture grounded in trust, accountability, and shared success.

Serving Our Community

  • Advancing our work in support of women and girls throughout DeKalb County.
  • Strengthening community partnerships that expand our reach and deepen our impact.
  • Ensuring that our service remains responsive, meaningful, and aligned with the needs of our community.

This year is about more than what we accomplish individually. It is about what we can achieve together when we are united by a common vision, connected through sisterhood, and committed to making a difference.

As we begin the 2026-2027 League year, I invite you to fully engage in the opportunities ahead. Bring your ideas, your talents, your passion, and your voice. Together, we will continue building a stronger League, developing impactful leaders, and creating meaningful change throughout DeKalb County.

Whether you are a new member, a longtime Active, a Sustainer, a Transfer Member, or a valued community partner, there is a place for you in this work.

Together, we are United in Purpose.

In Service and Sisterhood,

Victoria Anglin
2026-2027 President
Junior League of DeKalb County
